A moment to appreciate simple patterns, and how they can grow and develop into an abstract idea. There is a theory that the first three colors we learn to recognize are Black, White and Red. When used in design they can draw attention and evoke emotions in the individual. Red can illicit an excitement or a sensual concept, a violent motif, or a plain sharpness that is nowhere near just a monochrome approach to design. I enjoy working in black and white, but it’s fun to use a dash of color to embolden a design!
